Dr. Gary Dice served as the pastor of Grace Baptist Church of Pittsfield, Illinois, for almost 31 years. The church grew under his leadership and is known for its compassion and consistent outreach. During this ministry, his wife Linda was diagnosed with cancer, and in 1995 she went to Heaven leaving him with two sons to raise.

A year later, he remarried, and together, he and Pam have two sons. They have a total of nine grandchildren. In 2014, Dr. Dice was diagnosed with serious heart failure, and as of this writing, has been in the hospital 58 times. He has had 38 heart angiograms and 35 stents along with two open heart surgeries and nine bypasses. He is now diagnosed with serious heart failure and has been placed on the UNOS list of America, which is the official heart transplant list.

Since his retirement from the pastorate, he has been doing the work of the evangelist, traveling, and preaching. He has six brothers, five of whom became preachers. His father is also a preacher of over 65 years. Dr. Dice has been preaching now for almost 50 years and longs to travel, preach, and help people with their hurts.
